Dr. Manuel Cebrian is a Senior Research Scientist at the Spanish National Research Council. He has held positions at the Max Planck Society, MIT, Australia's National Science Agency, and UC San Diego.

Specializing in Computational Social Science and Artificial Intelligence, Dr. Cebrian was part of teams that won the DARPA Network Challenge, demonstrated the effectiveness of digital contact tracing, and helped establish a framework for studying Machine Behaviour. His research has been published in Science, Nature, and PNAS, and featured in The New York Times, The Economist, and The Guardian.
